Oncology nurse navigators work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, oncology groups, and accountable care organizations (ACOs). Their pa­tients have every conceivable type of cancer and a variety of treatment plans. Nurse navigators often follow patients from diagnosis through the entire spectrum of care.
